B-Roll Finder
Paste one part of narration. Type or tap simple keywords. Pick real footage by eye. Nothing is picked for you, nothing downloads until you pick it. Version 2 adds a download queue you can reorder, an aspect filter, Find More Like This, a Latest toggle for Pixabay only, and saved last work. Version 1 is still saved separately, so you can go back to it if v2 ever breaks.
Step 1 — Your keys (stay in this browser only)
Keys are saved only in this browser, and are sent only to Pexels / Pixabay when you search. They are never sent to Muse or to any other server. If a source chip below says "no key", that source is simply not searched.
Optional — Load a scene file from Muse (Scene 1, Scene 2, …)
This is optional, and it does not change the simple one-part flow below. When Muse makes a script and voice, he also makes a scene file: one line per scene, with its scene number, its voice time, and what the scene IS — its spoken narration text, not a description of what footage should be. Load that file here, tap a scene, and its narration loads into Step 2 below. Then search, pick, and download as usual, then tap the next scene.
File format, JSON: [{"scene":1,"start":"0:00","end":"0:09","narration":"Tonight we sit with Voyager 1."}]
Or text, one scene per block: Scene 1 | 0:00-0:09 | Tonight we sit with Voyager 1.
Step 2 — Paste one part of narration
Keywords are only words to search with. They do not judge a clip. You can tap a chip off, or edit the list, before you search.
Step 3 — Search
Strong matches
The first good results from Pexels and Pixabay, in the order those sites returned them, with a usable length (about 4 to 60 seconds). If a clip here does not fit your narration, do not pick it. Your eye decides.
Also found
Everything else from the same search, plus, only if you tapped "Search more", NASA / Wikimedia / Archive results. Check these by eye too. They are lower down on purpose, not hidden.
Step 4 — Download what you picked
Files are named in pick order, for example P01_voyager_clip1.mp4, P02_voyager_clip2.mp4, so you can use them scene by scene on your PC. If a source blocks a direct download, the ZIP contains a text file with that clip's original link instead, and you can download it from there.
